Weekly Report 1- What's Going on in Syria

In recent Syrian news, there has been an attack on an underground hospital.

The underground hospital that was recently attacked is called the Al Maghara hospital located in Kafr Zita, an area inhabited by rebels. It is a hospital that resides 60 feet underground and was described by Avi D'Souza, UOSSM's spokesman, as "believed to be the most secure hospital in Syria."

According to the Union of Medical Care and Relief Organization the hospital was struck by 5 missiles that was later reveled in the article as bunker-buster missiles. Fortunately it was also reveled that no one died during the attack due to the hospital's quick efforts to get staff and patients to the safety of a safe room.

Unfortunately, this is not the first attack on a hospital. The article states that there has been over a dozen in January alone. The United Nations is unable to send aid being that to do so; the last time aid was successfully sent was back in November.

Still unknown is who committed this attack.
