Born May 12, 1981, Rami Said Malek lived in Los Angeles. He is American of Egyptian ethnicity, with both of his parents being Egyptian. He was raised in Coptic Orthodox faith.
Rami Malek is an actor that won his first Emmy Award in 2016 for his role as Elliot Alderson in the TV show Mr. Robot.
Malek first got his actin career started in 2004 the show Gilmore Girls right after he graduated college with a bachelor's degree in 2003. It was in 2006 when he played Pharaoh Ahkmenrah in the movie Night at the Museum as a supporting role. Later he came back for the 2nd and 3rd installments continuing the role as Ahkmenrah for the trilogy. Rami Malek also played a supporting role in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 where his character's name was Benjamin. In both the trilogy and saga he played the role of an Ancient Egyptian.
It wasn't until 2015 when he had made his big break playing as Elliot Alderson in Mr. Robot. The TV show was nominated for the Golden Globes, People's Choice Awards, Dorian Awards and many others. Rami Malek won the Online Film & Television Association award, Gold Derby Award, Critic's Choice Awards, and last but definately not least an Emmy Award. Winning the Emmy's made Rami Malek the first Egyptian-American to win an Emmy in acting.
